4/2022 - 12/2023 Vice President External Communications | Shell Recharge Solutions
Shell Recharge Solutions (formerly Greenlots) was responsible for the SAAS-based EV Charging capabilities supporting both Consumer and Fleet sector business. My role was responsible for the end-to-end external marketing programs, advertising, PR, demand generation, digital and advertising, as well as enterprise product marketing supporting the Americas and Asia-Pacific. My team consisted of 10 FTEs, 3 Consultants, and 6 Agencies. Key Accomplishments included: Re-Organization of team into broader Shell within 3 global business units without attrition for FTE team; Successful Go-To-Market program creation for Fleet Sector and Consumer Value Sector for EV Enterprise Sales teams; Policy Driven executive communications plan and execution resulting in National media pick up and Shell’s EV leadership recognized in key states with forward-thinking policy (California, New York leading). Daily accountabilities included team management, MQL accountability to monthly sales quota, event management and thought leadership development for executive team and SMEs, product roadmap packaging and solicitation, sales enablement as well overall Sustainability sell-in strategy for broader Shell.

Intrax is a US-based J1 Visa Cultural Exchange company specializing in work study, Au Pair and travel related visas for US Citizens. As Vice President of Growth Marketing, my role was to create the function and align operations, planning and executional details to each unique portfolio business (6 total). Over the course of my six-month tenure I was able to create the framework by which the company could expand its digital growth capabilities. Key Accomplishments Included: Successfully growing two business units’ inbound leads by 30% from the previous year through content development and search capabilities; Onboarded CRM capabilities and established centers of excellence for deployment and usage throughout the company and business units and successfully created the GTM motions for destination travel capabilities with a new UK-based acquisition.

IPG Mediabrands was a global agency holding company. My role reported through the Cadreon business, which was responsible for an internally-created ad tech platform with the goal of providing better overall media performance optimization and yield to the company’s global agencies in lieu of third-party platforms. My role was to lead the product marketing and brand marketing team to help package, evangelize, and operationalize the enablement cadence throughout the company. Key Accomplishments Included: Effective partnering with product and global agency team influencers to develop pilots for leading clients like McCormick, Amazon and Microsoft, developing (in partnership with our product org) the roadmap strategy and cadence and rhythm for requirements gathering, rationalization, and customer commitments, successfully developed the agencies first internal GTM and cross-team intra-agency task force focused on governance and customer advisory/feedback “in” to our product team.

The business unit I reported through was responsible for marketing and product development supporting all the media lines of business from AOL (e.g. branded content publications). My role was a strategic individual contributor, responsible for creating the go-to-market strategy and executional details associated with selling both buy-side and sell-side ad tech platform capabilities. I reported directly into the Chief Product Officer, with a dotted line into the Chief Marketing Officer. Key Accomplishments: Led successful integration “in” of top Yahoo Product Marketing talent during the reorganization efforts, Drove data integration and taxonomy rationalization between Yahoo and AOL systems with CPO, drove “packaging” of ad tech capabilities through content business units via traditional product marketing techniques, launched first Analyst Relations capabilities.
10/2013 - 5/2015 Director of Product Marketing, Data Products Oracle Marketing Cloud | Oracle
The business unit I reported into was responsible for all the Data capabilities within the Marketing Cloud. I was responsible for the global product marketing strategy and motions supporting the go-to-market efforts for the Oracle DMP. Key Accomplishments: Establish rhythm of the business for sales enablement and global training on “big data” and Oracle DMP capabilities and use cases, established Customer Advisory Program, Launched global enterprise campaign tailored for key vertical segments, press cleared and routinely spoke on behalf of Oracle Marketing Cloud globally, led first challenging advisory and Wave process with Forrester (Analyst Relations) at a time when the product wasn’t the leader - invaluable experience.
